Intern Investor Relations Dutch Fund for Climate and Development

We are looking for a new intern!

Intern Investor Relations Dutch Fund for Climate and Development

Zeist 32-40 hbo/wo € 550

We are part of the Dutch Fund for Climate and Development (DFCD), a blended finance facility which is funded by Dutch government and EU. Together with Dutch development bank FMO, Climate Fund Managers (CFM) and SNV we aim to mobilise € 2Bn private sector funding, with a focus on climate change adaptation and nature. It targets sizable impact companies that seek to improve the wellbeing, economic prospects and livelihoods of vulnerable groups – particularly women and children – and enhance the health of critical ecosystems – from water basins to rivers, tropical rainforests, marshland and mangroves. DFCD’s activities will also help protect rural and urban communities from the increasing frequency of extreme weather events and benefit depleting biodiversity in areas that provide people with water, food, medicine and economic opportunity. DFCD’s focus is on OECD DAC Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and other Netherlands development cooperation priority countries.

Within DFCD, the Origination Facility is managed by WWF-NL and SNV collectively. The Origination Facility is positioned exclusively for project identification and (pre-)feasibility development activities. The Origination Facility will provide grant funding and TA and support projects in becoming viable investment cases for the two DFCD Investment Facilities or third-party investors.

We want all the companies we support within DFCD to receive funding for growing their impact. Therefore, WWF is actively growing our own impact investor ecosystem with many different investors, (such as family offices, VC funds, foundations, banks and private investors) aiming to attract investments into our selected businesses, additional to funding from FMO and CFM.

What will you be doing?
