Intern - Impact Investor Relations

Zeist 32-40 hours (Master) student € 550

WWF is an international organisation for the protection of nature with the mission to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which Humans live in harmony with nature. The organisation has independent offices in around 100 countries in the worl forming a global network. There is a common worldwide strategy that focuses on the conservation of biodiversity on the planet and the reduction of the global footprint to a level that is within the limits of the earth. WWF looks for solutions in cooperation with governments, companies and civil society to realise protection of species and their habitats and a sustainable use of environmental resources.

DFCD mobilizes external private sector funding at scale, with a focus on climate change adaptation and nature. It targets profit-making (bankable) impact projects that are managed by private sector corporates with the potential to attract private investments. DFCD’s focus is on OECD DAC Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and other Netherlands development cooperation priority countries.

In order to achieve our ambitions on facilitating investments, WWF is building an impact investor community with the goal to attract investments into our selected businesses, additional to funding from FMO and CFM.
WWF is looking for an intern Impact investor relations who can directly support the Impact Investment Consultant in building an active and engaged investor network for DFCD.

The activities of the internship:

1. Support the impact investment consultant in investor interactions and relationship management.
2. Track investment progress in the investor database.
3. Screen investors based on desk research and available databases and integrate these into our investor relations system (CRM).
4. Support in developing the investor database as a tool for community building and conversion.
5. Assist in organizing investor meetings & events.

  • Period: 6 months, from September 2024
  • Allowance: students achieve an allowance of € 550,- per month on a full time basis
